Mdina is Malta’s ancient walled capital, the “Silent City,” completely free to enter and wander through narrow streets with views stretching across the entire island. Mdina Streets
The narrow honey-coloured streets of the "Silent City" are virtually car-free and largely tourist-shop-free, making it one of the most atmospheric walks in the Mediterranean. Entry to the walled city is completely free.
