La Rochelle is an Atlantic port city in France with a beautiful old harbor framed by its medieval towers. Tour Saint-Nicolas and Tour de la Chaine
The two medieval towers guarding the entrance to La Rochelle's old harbour, once connected by a chain to block enemy ships. A combined ticket is inexpensive and the view from the top spans the entire port.
