The best things to do in Kas are free. Lycian and Hellenistic ruins sit right in the streets, including the rock-cut King’s Tomb in a residential lane and the small clifftop theater above the harbor, and you can walk up to all of them without paying a cent. The town skipped the high-rise resort build-out, so it stays cheaper than the bigger coastal hubs while keeping a walkable, low-built center. If you want more for nothing, the long-distance Lycian Way trail passes within reach for free coastal hiking, and a cheap day boat runs across to the sunken city of Kekova or the Greek island of Meis just 20 minutes offshore.
